Callum Brown is 7 years old, he has cerebral palsy which means that his legs are stiff and painful, making it difficult for him to walk on his own. His parents have researched an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy which is performed by Dr Park in St Louis, America. The operation will change his life by making his legs no longer stiff and painful and hopefully help him to be an independent walker.

If you climb the 137 steps to the top of the lighthouse, you will be rewarded by spectacular views of the beautiful North East coast.
